Al Ruscio was an Italian-American character actor whose career spanned the late 1950s to 2011, with his first job being Gunsmoke in 1958. He made his mark performing in guest spots for numerous notable television shows including Days of Our Lives, Life Goes On, The Wonder Years, Beverly Hills 90210, The Untouchables and Barney Miller, which prominently features The Godfather's Abe Vigoda.

Ruscio also made appearances in several hit films aside from his role as Leo Cuneo in The Godfather Part III. These include Any Which You Can, Guilty by Suspicion with Robert De Niro, and Showgirls.

Ruscio died in Encino, Calif., on November 12, 2013, only 24 days before his wife of 59 years, Kate Williamson.
