Alex Thomson, b.s.c. was an English cinematographer who was best known for his Academy Award nominated work Excalibur, who subsequently worked on several films in the Eighties incuding Legend, The Sicilian and later two Shakespeare adaptations with Kenneth Branagh.

He died in 2007.
