The title of this article is a nickname.

Big Mike was one of Joey Zasa's bodyguards. Taller and bulkier than the other bodyguards, Big Mike had more presence than the others. In 1979, he was killed at the Feast of San Gennaro by a machine gunner (along with Frankie) while trying to protect his boss.

Behind the scenes

Big Mike is mentioned in the screenplay of The Godfather Part III and is supposed to be the tall bodyguard of Zasa during the festival.
