Brooklyn is a borough of New York City and is connected to Manhattan by the Brooklyn Bridge.

The controlling family in Brooklyn is the Tattaglia family, and thus it was home to many prostitiution rackets from the early thirties to the sixties, when Osvaldo Altobello became Don and the family attempted to shake off its loutish reputation.

Brooklyn was also the territory of Salvatore Tessio.

In the video gameEdit

In The Godfather: The Game, this is the main base of the Tattaglias, led by Phillip Tattaglia. In 1950, the compound was destroyed by a bomb placed by Corleone soldato Aldo Trapani, who wanted to finish off the Tattaglia family in a plot masterminded by "Jaggy Jovino" and Salvatore Tessio. Five years later, Trapani executed Philip Tattaglia in order to kill off the Five Families's heads to consolidate Corleone control of New York and northeastern New Jersey.
