Buffalo is a city in western New York state, the second most populous after New York City. It was here that Michael Corleone's treacherous bodyguard Fabrizio fled to following his attempt on Michael's life, funded by the Barzini family.

Acting on intelligence provided by the Cuneo family, the Corleones tracked down Fabrizio to his new pizza parlour and killed him.
