In 1945 Herriman Katz and Freddie Fattorini is forced to pay money to the Corleones.Chateau Toledo was a nightclub in Midtown Manhattan, owned by former hustler Herriman Katz, who fronted a racket business for the Barzini family, which was secretly run by the dapper Freddie Fattorini. It was known for its inviting exterior and the warm personality of the owners, but feared in mob circles, as several gangsters who crossed the Barzinis had mysteriously disappeared following a visit to the Chateau.

In 1945, the club was taken over by the Corleone family.
