Born Diane Hall in 1941, her first major role was Kay Adams in the Godfather: Part I, but she had already appeared in smaller parts throughout the years.
Keaton became known for playing comedy after this sucess, working with Woody Allen several times, even winning an Academy Award for Annie Hall in 1977. After this, she took on a variety on roles both serious and humorous before reprising her role as Kay in The Godfather: Part III
