Biography[]
A rich man, Marrion used ten thousand dollars of his own money to set up a studio in the budding film industry in the 1920s. Though he planned to name it Lode Stone a mistake made by the lawyers resulted in it being named Loddstone. Under his direction, the studio became one of the pilalrs of the industry. He later retired and passed the business to his son, and later, grandson, Eli Marrion.
