Emilios Packing Company was a business in Miami. In 1959, after the failed business deal in Cuba, Rico Granados forced the owner of the racket, Harry Cruz, to pay up to him in exchange for "protection". Soon after this, Emilio's became a vital part of the diamond smuggling ring.
Granados left 30 guards to protect the huge business, but in 1959, the Trapani crime family under Dominic Corleone attacked it. He and his crew killed all of the guards and forced Cruz to pay up.
