In 1945 Jay Wade is forced to pay money to the Corleones.Holden Holdings was part of the 'Holden' chain of businesses used against the Corleone family in the Five Families War. Officially, this business was run by Jay Wade, known to take orders from Rodolfo Tattaglia. However, Wade married a Cuneo in 1944, and was often used by her family to store sensitive goods that were being moved from the railyard.
In 1948, Sonny Corleone and Aldo Trapani managed to infiltrate Holden Holdings after interrogating a Cuneo Capo at the Caruso! club in Hell's Kitchen. Following a Cuneo Racket Boss, they eliminated the Cuneo guards and learned of the final link in the chain from the racket boss, who directed them to the nearby West Port Warehouse.
In 1945, Trapani forced Wade pay money for the Corleones.

Jay Wade is not all he seems-he's married to a Cuneo and seems to be working for them on the side. Some weekends he can be seen moving Cuneo goods for them when the Tattaglias aren't looking...which is most of the time.
