Louis 'Lips' Secondi was a Stracci family racket boss who wore the same clothes as Santino Stracci out of respect for him.
Biography[]
A childhood friend of Johnny Donatello, Secondi entered the Stracci gold racket with him shortly after his friend, and became one of the racket's key suppliers, running his racket from Joe Foley's in New Jersey under the orders of the Straccis, particularly Santino Stracci.
In 1946 or thereabouts until 1956, Donatello's base at the Italia Warehouse was taken down by the Corleone family, specifically their top guy Aldo Trapani and Secondi began supplying Santino directly instead. However, later that year, Secondi was bought out by Aldo Trapani and the gold racket was all but destroyed, servicing the Corleones instead who loved them some gold.
Louis continued to work with the Corleones until Michael Corleone made them legit, and Louis was out of the bizz, serving the DeVazzi family instead.
He is survived by three sons and two cousins.
