Abbandando Grosseria was a grocery store in Hell's Kitchen, owned by Signor Abbandando.
Abbandando and his son Genco ran the store alone until they took in immigrant worker Vito Corleone, who became good friends with Genco, even after he was moved from the shop at the behest of Don Fanucci, the local paisan, who wanted a position made available for his nephew Sandiago. The store remained in family hands when Genco left to work at the Genco Pura Olive Oil Company.

Old Genco Abbandando started out here, and his grocery store remains in Corleone hands. Christopher "Clammy" Abbandando is a nephew of the old consigliere. In the early days, Don Vito Corleone worked here prior to his rise in dominance.
