Gary Lamberteschi was the 'safety-valve' caporegime in Tony Rosato's family.
Biography
Living a life of crime from a young age and formerly Corleone soldato under Peter Clemenza, Lamberteschi ran molasses with Vito Corleone and Hyman Roth during Prohibition, which earned him a place in the Corleone family. He split from the family in the late Fifties after Tony Rosato became unsatisfied with his place in the family. Jimmy Vecchio was directly answerable to him following the switch.
Lamberteschi was a genial individual, and was a welcome guest at most of the best rum joints in New York. he usely deliverd between Tony and his brother and informed tony of Carmine's death and elimanation of his family by the Trapani crime family led by Dominic Corleone. During the mob war in 1959, Lamberteschi was beaten to death in Edgemont Park.
