―Joe the Elegance[src]

Joe the Elegance was an associate of the Cuneo crime family until he was extorted by the DeVazzi family.

Biography[]

A born gambler, Joe the Elegance grew up in Hell's Kitchen and was brought under Mack McNulty's wing from an early age, learning the tricks of the trade from the cigar baron and become quite a witty and charismatic Cuneo. Joe became known as an affable card-sharp and shark as well, and was given his own racket at The Elegante (hence his name), where he took over the shebang from the less successful Fausto Cuneo, Jr., who much prefered the job of meeting and greeting despite being the Don's nephew or godson.

After earning a sizable fortune from his gambling racket, Joe was eventually bought out by Aldo Trapani shortly after the Five Families War.

After the mid 1950's, Joe was once again bought out, this time by the DeVazzi family who even heightened up his pay.
