Joey Blazes was a caporegime in the Corleone crime family.
Biography
A long time hustler for the family, Joey Blazes was part of Sonny Corleone's regime in Hell's Kitchen, he was soldato under Peter Clemenza, where he often acted alongside his close friend Lego Coalliere. In 1945, Luca Brasi had Blazes and Coalliere serve as advisors to his young protege Aldo Trapani instructing him on the next course of action.
As a reward for their services, Blazes and Coalliere were made by Trapani in 1955 when he became Don of New York.
It is possible he is related to Benny Blazes.
