Born in Brooklyn, Martino began his career whilst still a teenager, releasing a hit song and appearing on American Bandstand.
He later became a Member of the Screen Actors Guild after moving to California and becoming an actor. His big break was appearing as Paulie Gatto in The Godfather, a role which he later reprised in The Godfather: The Game. He continues to act to this day.
