John Megna was an American actor.


Beginning his career with success on Broadway at the age of seven, his major film breakthrough with a part in To Kill a Mockingbird. Megna appeared in many television programs throughout the 1960s and 1970s, including Star Trek and The Boy in the Plastic Bubble and as an adult, he turned to stage directing.

John Megna later became a high school English teacher, and last taught at James Monroe High School in North Hills, CA. On September 5, 1995, in Los Angeles, California, he died from AIDS-related complications at the age of 42. He was a half brother to actress Connie Stevens through their mother the former Eleanor McGinley.
