Johnny Conger was a fishmonger from New Jersey.
Biography[]
In the 1930s, Conger established a little fismongers in New Jersey, specialised in Norwegian bluefish. In 1940s, his store was brought under the thumb of the Barzini family in the 1940s, but he was seen to be the true power in his store, despite the presence of enforcer Bernardo Burako, who was generally seen to have little substance to back up his threats.
However, despite Johnny's tough-as-nails attitude, his property was seized by the Corleone family in the late Forties.
