Leopoldo Trieste was an Italian actor, film director and script writer.


Trieste had a vast screen career spreading from the Forties to 2001, although he is most known to English speaking audiences for his roles in Cinema Paradiso and as Signor Roberto in The Godfather Part II.

He died from myocardial infarction in 2003.
