Louis Bocchicchio (Luis Basillio on some versions) was the owner of Louis Restaurant and a founder and first don of the Bocchicchio clan aka Basillio clan.

Biography

Louis, like his cousin Felix decided to take the legitimate life when he moved to the United States, as opposed to the Basillio clan business as business managers or a position in the waste removal business. His restaurant was controlled by him and his Bocchicchios in the early 1930's, but by the following decade most of the family were being used as hostages overseas by Barzini men and Louis' restaurant hardly had any protection and his family was forced to submit by the Barzini family. The Barzini family who controlled the majority of Midtown, send an African-American chef there to put a squeeze on Luis, but Luis would fold. Although initially reluctant to let the business leave family hands, Louis agreed and was given only one lone Barzini soldato to protect his front.

In 1947 Louis' restaurant became notorious for such events as the slaying of known narcotics dealer Virgil Sollozzo and the Police Captain Mark McCluskey by Michael Corleone, future Don of the Corleone family. Either before or after, Aldo Trapani negotiated the takeover of the restaurant along with the chef, which went unavenged due to the peaceful relationship between the Bocchicchios and the five families.

Behind the scenes

He was voiced by Serge Houde.
He shares the almost the same character model as Nicky Corleone, only that Nicky's hair is blonde while Louis's are black and Luis might have a mustache and similar face changes.
