Miami is a major city in southern Florida in the United States. It has a large Spanish population.

The Corleone family owned a hotel at Miami Beach, as did New Orleans Don, Carlo Tramonti.

It was agreed by the Commission that Miami was to be an open city where any of the families could operate.

Hyman Roth moved to Miami after becoming successful by working with the Corleone family in New York. Hyman Roth was later executed by Rocco Lampone at Miami International Airport.
