Born in Pleasantville, in 1930, Morgana King is of a half Sicilian/Half Portuguese descent. Before playing Carmella Corleone in The Godfather, she was known as a jazz-singer.
She has appeared in six films, including The Godfather: Part II and Deadly Intentions.

In Part Two, she was wary of appearing in an open coffin, so was doubled by Francis Ford Coppola's mother Italia Coppola.
