The Teatro Massimo Vittorio Emanuele is an opera house in Palermo, Sicily. One of the largest in Europe, it was opened in 1897.
It was at the Teatro Massimo that Anthony Corleone achieved fame by appearing as the lead in Cavalleria rusticana. Behind closed doors, the Teatro Massimo also saw the deaths of Don Altobello, The Twins, Mosca, and Mary Corleone.
