"This friendship is worth every penny."
―Viani Barzini[src]

Viani Barzini was the owner of the Va Va Voom Room in Little Italy and a Barzini associate in New York. Her father, Ettore, had been instrumental in setting up the family in the early 30s. She had one brother, Eduardo, who ran the Barzini Hub in Midtown.

Biography[]

Niece of Emilio Barzini, Viani Barzini managed to set herself a very famous nightclub in Little Italy. However, despite the fact that she was a Barzini she was attracted to Corleone enforcer Marty Malone. Whether he returned her affections is unknown, as he was known to be involved with a woman named Crazy Jane at this time.

In 1946, Malone and Aldo Trapani persuaded Viani to change allegiance by giving her a very good proposal and offering protection. She later allowed Monk to use her club as his base once he had turned federal informant.

Behind the scenes[]

She was voiced by Deborah Ben-Eliezer.
